When we started working on UNDONE, we couldn’t have imagined the level of interest in alcohol-free beverages. Thanks to the hard work of our German distributor Cranehouse, 30,000 bottles had already been sold before we even went into production. Now finally the first delivery of nearly 4,000 bottles went to the company Selgros and selected bars.
Selgros Cash & Carry has over 39 wholesale stores in Germany and employs over 4,000 people. The wholesale chain’s product range is aimed at commercial customers from the catering and retail sectors. We are very pleased to be now available in several German regions at once!
Our managing director Mehmet Ünlü personally visited the bottling of the first batch to make sure that we could meet the delivery date. It was a special moment for our team to see the first machine-labelled and filled bottles roll off the production line. Our idea was now reality!
Selgros took over our complete range. From now on UNDONE “No.1 Sugar Cane Type” (This is not Rum), “No.2 Juniper Type” (This is not Gin), “No.7 Italian Bitter Type” (This is not Orange Bitter) and “No.8 Italian Aperitif Type” (This is not Vermouth) are available on the shelves. And although our official launch in Germany is still imminent, customers seem to be responding positively to our range and concept. Hopefully we’ll be able to share some more insights soon.
The next bottling is already planned. Further wholesale markets and bars are on stand-by waiting for their delivery. We’re live now. But we’re certainly not done yet.
